Girls (that's Miranda in the ketchup-red sleeping bag with her stuffy puppy, "Goldie") "settling down" for the night at Ainslie's 7th birthday puppy-themed sleepover party extravaganza.

Steve (shown here taking a picture of himself by mistake) was feted at 50 (or fetid at 50?) the next morning at a scrumptious brunch hosted by Penny and James; Debbie and Harry made a fabulous cake that got a bit mangled in transit, the inscription thus reading "HAPPY BIRTHDAY...EVE"--maybe time to lose the face fuzz--I remember when our old dog Tycho started looking like this, we began calling him "Monsieur Grisbarbe" (though even then he was still learning new tricks...)

Gals and Dolls

Miranda and her doll (that's Leonie in the far left corner near the window, perched on a cushion) hosted a Maplelea Dolls and Girls and Moms and Grandmoms tea party:  in attendance were Ailsa (and Jenna) and Debbie Ross; Carmen (and Taryn) and Nicola (and Brianne) and Terri Shea and Grandma (who was visiting the Sheas from Newfoundland for the March Break); and, of course, hostess-with-the-mostest Miranda (and Leonie) and Aurora (no doll--yet!) and me (Deb) and Nana Lorna.  And, would you believe it, those delicious iced cupcakes disappeared in record time:  must have been those hungry Maplelea gals!
