Bus stop

Here's Miranda, trying to keep warm while waiting for the school bus that takes her from the deep dark woods to the light of learning. Let's pass by the irony of being driven to the bus stop at the cul-de-sac at the end of the paved road (normally we walk there, really we do)... after all, it was a very cold day!

Tickling the ivories

Auntie Janie helped Aurora pick out a tune or two when we visited the Royeas in Vancouver--our dentist's office is only a few blocks away from their place, so now we have fabulously white teeth as well. Merlyn is doing much better now after some health challenges that began before Christmas, so it was great to check in with them and have a lovely afternoon visit--and a delicious baked ham dinner. Smiles all round!
