Miranda ended her winter session of gymnastics class this weekend, only to re-enroll in the spring semester of Tiny Tumblers. Fellow gymnasts include her buddies Ellie, Ailsa, Lenya, and Jada. Go girls!
Two memorials for MWB: one was on Thursday at the Listening Post, where Mike was a well-loved frequent visitor; one on Sunday at St. Mark's church in Kitsilano.
We will are also planning something for summertime, in New Brunswick, as a celebration of a life well lived.
Jada and Miranda had a joyful reunion, celebrating the Scott family's return from Australia! The girls had a great game of dress-up after Saturday gymnastics class. Miranda's latest kick is to try and convert any room she's in into a gymnastics venue: this involves pillows for jumping and tumbling, background music, appropriate attire such as gym leotard, and (sometimes, God help us) a makeshift balance beam of some kind. Score--a perfect 10!
Nanny Lorna, having found a bigger and better apartment, has moved from Mission to Agassiz--now has a mountain view and is just a few minutes' drive away from one of the places she does her contract work. She continues to spend part of each week with us here on Bowen Island, of course. Love ya, Nanny!
